  7. AlphaBase is a user friendly database program.  The traditional Amiga
  8. workbench drop menus are augmented with buttons that give easy access to
  9. each of the available function.  The buttons carry standard function symbols
  10. or graphics with a further one line help script that appears in the bottom
  11. window whenever the cursor is placed over a button.  Two types of database
  12. design are supported at present.  The first is a formless address type and
  13. the second is a data record handling type with allows the inclusion of text,
  14. picture and sound with each record.

  16. AlphaBase ist ein übersichtliches und leicht erlernbares Datenbankprogramm.
  17. Die variable Feldbelegung im Adreßmodus ermöglicht die Eingabe
  18. verschiedenartig strukturierter (z.B.  deutscher und amerikanischer)
  19. Adressen in eine gemeinsame Datenbank.  Adressen können auf Briefumschläge
  20. und Etiketten gedruckt werden.  Bei nicht-adressenbezogenen Daten ist die
  21. Einbindung von Kommentartexten, Bildern und Soundsamples interessant.

  27. Open the lha archive (AlphaBase.lha) into RAM:  check its contents against
  28. the following list then move the whole directory on to your hard drive or
  29. floppy disk.  The size of the directory is as shown.  A directory icon is
  30. included.
